Background
Glen is a marketing communications expert who has played an integral role in the launch and lives of several notable brands, both in agencies and as a corporate marketing executive. In a 30+ year career, Glen has helped to distinguish brands within highly competitive categories, built consistent global programs and ensured that ambitious objectives have been met and exceeded.
Glen most recently was Vice President, Brand Management and Marketing Strategy at Lenovo, with responsibility for advertising, interactive and direct marketing programs in 60+ countries. He worked extensively with Lenovo’s teams in Bangalore, India and Beijing.
Glen was previously Director of Global Brand Management at KPMG. He previously worked at GTE as VP of Advertising and Social Responsibility. He spent the latter part of his tenure at GTE helping to implement the company’s merger with Bell Atlantic, co-chairing the team that successfully named, positioned and ultimately launched the Verizon brand.
Glen had earlier overseen the Armstrong and DuPont accounts at BBDO. Prior to working at BBDO, Glen was Director of Advertising for the American Express Card. He is credited with guiding development and production of over 30 “Do You Know Me” commercials. Glen began his marketing career at Young & Rubicam.
Glen is a graduate of Hamilton College.
Personal
Glen and his wife have two daughters and live in Purchase, N.Y. He is an avid bicyclist and voracious reader of non-fiction.
