Background
Craig is a career marketer, with 18 years across all marketing disciplines. He recently served as VP of Global Consumer Marketing for Lenovo, and led entry into consumer markets around the world. As VP of Branding and Design, he guided Lenovo successfully through a unique brand transition as it combined with the IBM Personal Computer Division. Before joining Lenovo, Craig was a marketing executive in IBM’s PC business, On Demand Business initiative, and Home Director startup. Prior to joining IBM in 1997, Craig was Group Brand Manager with the Quaker Oats Company, and worked on several food brands, from Cap’n Crunch to Mrs. Richardson’s ice cream toppings. He attended the University of Notre Dame (BBA), and the University of Rochester (MBA). Craig also serves on the Advisory Boards of two startups in wind power and cloud computing technology.
Personal
Craig lives in Chapel Hill, NC with his wife and four daughters. He volunteers with Young Life and as a mentor in UNC Kenan-Flagler’s Business Accelerator for Sustainable Entrepreneurship. He enjoys Japanese gardening, sledding, photography, and participation in many sports.
